Soil Stabilisation Design

Earth-Tech Solutions Ltd undertake independent soil stabilisation designs on site won materials or materials imported to site in order to guarantee the strength to be gained for use within various locations on site. Each design is adapted to suit material types and the varying requirements of our clients.

This is undertaken by removing representative samples from a site and carrying out key tests under laboratory conditions – the results of which permit a final design to be established by Earth-Tech Solutions Ltd to provide the most effective engineered material, examples of this are a general fill specification achieving a 5% CBR to partial sub-base replacement strengths of 30% CBR.

Soil modification / stabilisation involves the introduction of binders such as lime, cement GGBS & PFA to improve both soil properties and provide additional strengths. Designs can be adapted to be introduced at various depths within pavement construction.

Designs undertaken are done so on a site specific basis with different materials requiring different additions + types of binder.
