Solidification is similar to the stabilisation process, it allows materials to be mixed with specified additives to form a solid (monolithic) mass of encapsulated materials reducing the potential for leachate migration of any contamination.

This process allows land owners to develop sites which would otherwise remain undeveloped due to other costs associated with remediating contaminated land. Solidification allows significant cost savings when looking at potential development sites.

Brownfield Land Remediation

Brownfield Land Remediation is becoming increasingly popular due to the lack of green field sites available for development. Earth-Tech Solutions Ltd can offer soil solidifiction as a brownfield remediation solution to encapsulate contaminants which may be present. The treated solidified materials can be utiised within the pavement design and can often be more cost effective than traditional methods of 'dig and dump'.
